Identity branding

SoftStud

Creating the branding for SoftStud, my personal earring brand, was an exercise in subtle cheekiness.

 

The name itself is a pun, with the secondary meaning referring to a type of masculine-of-centre presentation, and in creating a branding strategy I wanted to hint more strongly at the secondary meaning while retaining the subtlety. 

​

The final logo references tracks in freshly shaved hair, and the very light salmon colour gestures towards the idea of softness.
