4ZZZ

Interviewed by Georgia Betros

The boom and bust cycle of the mining industry means mines not only leave a mark on the land, but also on the community members who once relied on the industry. So what happens to these sites once a mine closes and who makes these decisions? Georgia had a chat with PhD student Amelia Hine about what happens once a mine is no longer operational.
